Zack's Turn in FFVII Series

We've witness Cloud's life and played through Vincent's story...now it's Zack's turn. In less than 30 days, Square Enix, the home of the Final Fantasy franchise, will be releasing its long-awaited video game Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. This prequel takes gamers back seven years ago when Zack, the character we barely knew in the FFVII series, was an active SOLDIER for ShinRa.

As the ShinRa Company continues to grow, it still has one goal, to take over the world. SOLDIER is a "group of skilled combat operatives within ShinRa" that consists of two classes: 1st and 2nd. Zack Fair, a young SOLDIER member 2nd class, seeks 1st class status by training under his mentor and best friend, Angeal Hewley.

During a mission in Wutai, a number of SOLDIER members are declared missing. Zack, Angeal and one famous 1st class SOLDIER member [also known in the classic FFVII game], Sephiroth, are sent by ShinRa to find the lost fighters and end the war in Wutai. Additional characters mentioned in the game are Cloud Strife (FFVII's main character), Genesis, and Aerith (a.k.a. Aeris) Gainsborough.

Along with a battle system similar to FFXII and high quality CG clips, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and will be on shelves on March 25, 2008. This upcoming game is only available for the PlayStation Portable.
