And just to think that The Sims franchise is running out of ideas, they create a new game before the holiday season starts…
Electronic Arts has recently released their new upcoming Sims 2 game, The Sims 2: Castaway. The title says it all… the Sims you create will now be stuck on a tropical island and must figure a way out or to embark in a new lifestyle. In every Sims game, you start out by creating your own Sims. The story begins when your newly-made Sims land on a stranded island. It is up to you to control your Sims by finding items on the island that will help them build a home or hunt for food.
In the DS version, your Sims will also have to collect items to live off of and play mini games that are offered like fish spearing and bug squashing.
To the people who are not familiar with The Sims series, the game is a simulation that gives you the power to have total control over them (unless you’re getting robbed or having items repossessed, then you’re SOL). Electronic Arts are continuously creating Sims themes from being a superstar to owning your own business.
The Sims 2: Castaway will be available for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable (PSP). It ships its way to North America and Europe today.
