The last year for the PC has seen some of the best games to date - period. FPS games were pushed to all new heights with Call of Duty 4 and Crysis, multiplatform PC games saw true, undisputed successes, World of Warcraft hit 9 million players, and RTS games breathed sweet satisfaction with new shows such as World in Conflict and an outstanding Supreme Commander update. So what does that leave for the 2008?
The answer is: a whole lot.
Savage 2: A Tortured Soul

Sequel to the outstanding FPS/RTS game, Savage 2 has been in development for a long while, with fans aching to get their hands on it. With the beta phase behind them, S2 Games is almost ready for release.

CryTek has their hands full with Crysis, so Ubisoft has taken the developmental reigns of the sequel to the game that made CryTek famous. Ubisoft has promised to make a great game better still - it's just a few months away!

This MMO promises to give the hardcore, maniacal fans of Warhammer something to unite and rejoice over. Dawn of War successfully brought it into the RTS genre, and Age of Reckoning will go much farther.
