The lines of music video games and live rock shows are blurring. Whether it’s strumming those power chords in front a pyrotechnic sensory overload at the Hollywood Bowl in front of thousands of screaming fans or in front of your 24“ Vizio flat screen, mind you with high-def, in the comfort of your family room, playing the guitar has never felt this good. No more lifeless plastic guitars that feels strangely too small to rock out with. At the conclusion of your 5-star effort, with only one note missed, and hopefully a new song unlocked, you can smash that heavy guitar down and actually have to buy a new coffee table and guitar controller.

Introducing the AG Riffmaster Guitar Controller, From ArtGuitar, a leading designer of innovative custom paint and technology for guitars. This guitar controller is a genuine life-size Peavey guitar modified to play with guitar based videogames such as Guitar Hero on the Playstation 2. Under license by Signature Network’s roster, this guitar controller will feature unique paintings featuring rock bands such as KISS, Pantera and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

“We’ve partnered with Peavey Electronics to take gaming to a whole new sophisticated level,” stated Steve Spurgeon, CEO of ArtGuitar. “From the moment you pick up the AG RiffMaster™ Guitar Controller you will find yourself immersed in the truest rock n’ roll videogame experience around, and you’ll never want to go back to those plastic guitars again.”

This guitar features natural rosewood with the outer shell and weight of a real Peavey guitar. The neck uses a genuine fingerboard, with colored and real frets intertwined. While the guitar strings have been removed, real tuning pegs were kept for their visual appeal including the strum and whammy bars.

As if your arthritic fingers were not taking enough of a toll, just ask Minnesota Twins pitcher Joel Zumaya on missing a pitching appearance last postseason as a result of Guitar Hero, you can add to that sore shoulders and really feel like you were on stage with Rock of Love’s Bret Michaels, although it was not his shoulders the VH1 celebreality star was complaining about after that two week taping. The AG RiffMaster from ArtGuitar will certainly be a unique addition to the music video gaming library.

The limited edition AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller will be released Holiday 2007 and is available for pre-order now at www.artguitar.com.
