LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saitek has begun shipping its newest game pads − the Cyborg Rumble and the P3200 Rumble game pads. Both pads share the same fresh new design, with a compact profile, high-grip handles and perfectly positioned controls. The pads are packed with features, including 2 quick fire shoulder triggers, 2 analog triggers, 2 analog joysticks, an 8-way d-pad, and 6 responsive buttons – all fully programmable with Saitek’s Smart Technology Programming Software. The P3200 Rumble and Cyborg Rumble pads also include powerful Rumble Force technology to heighten the realism of in-game effects.

Both the Saitek P3200 Rumble and the Cyborg Rumble were designed to support both classic PC game pad configurations and Microsoft’s new Xbox 360 controller standard, for complete past and future game compatibility. Checking a box in the game controller settings changes the pad’s mode from Classic to X Mode. In the default Classic mode, the two shoulder buttons act as buttons, and the triggers act as buttons or axes - better suited for playing traditional style sports games such as the EA Sports series. The trigger position that presses the corresponding button can also be set.

The Cyborg Rumble pad includes the Cyborg module - a unique new feature which allows gamers to change the arrangement of the left analog stick and d-pad to suit their individual needs. A single switch disengages the Cyborg module from the pad - it can then be rotated and clipped back in for ultimate comfort.

The Cyborg Rumble also includes an FPS button which automatically sets up the pad's controls for typical commands found in most current FPS genre games, as well as the new Precision mode – a first in PC game pad design. Precision Mode allows the gamer to select a button(s) or stick(s) on the pad which, when activated, will decrease the sensitivity of the Cyborg Rumble pad’s left or right sticks so that, for example, moving a stick across its full range of deflection will correspond to half the normal movement in the game. This can be extremely useful when trying to aim a very sensitive rifle with a telescopic sight over long ranges. Pressing the pre-assigned button again then disengages Precision mode.
