Remodeling SimCity Societies

Electronic Arts Inc. announces today they will be releasing their first expansion pack for the SimCity franchise. SimCity Societies: Destinations allows players to add vacation spots to their metropolis. New tools and options include: creating theme parks, beach resorts, hiking trails and more exciting attractions for your Sims to roam around.

 

Rod Humble, Head of The Sims Studio, states "SimCity Societies Destinations is the perfect game to let your imagination go on vacation, while at the same time provides deeper, challenges for the player. Whether you want to forge a mini republic or build a spiritual retreat, you'll have all the tools to make your destination admired by citizens far and wide."

 

For almost 20 years, SimCity has sold over 17 million copies and won countless awards for their game play, strategy, and creativity. The SimCity franchise continues to release new and improved games offering different themes and challenges. SimCity Societies: Destinations is not yet rated by the ESRB. It is scheduled to release in May 2008 for $29.99 and only available for the PC.
