Last night, The 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards were held in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were some surprising winners and a lot of expected ones. Two of Nintendo’s popular characters of the company managed to win two awards: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Handheld Game of the Year) and Super Mario Galaxy (Adventure Game of the Year). The Orange Box was receiving a lot of attention winning Character Performance, Game Play Engineering, and In Game Design until the end of the night when Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare won the final two big awards of the night, Console Game of the Year and Overall Game of the Year. Here is the list of Winners at last night’s event:
