We announced that Wii Fit will be releasing in the US around the first quarter this year. It seems that the people at Nintendo were unable to meet the supply in Japan, thus the new US release date for Wii Fit will be May 20th, 2008. Since its release on December 1st, Wii Fit has sold a million copies in Japan, more reason and motivation that purchasing this game will help in the long run. There is also news on another tool you can use for Wii Fit. Nintendo announced they are coming out with a Wii Fit Mat that plays alongside the balance board (which is included with the game). The mat helps absorb shocks from a heavy workout. The mat is currently scheduled to release in Japan at the end of February.
