Take-Two Interactive, distributor of Grand Theft Auto IV announces their sales has hit the $500 million mark in its first week. Just released last Tuesday, GTA IV sold 3.6 million units on its first day with a retail value of $310 million worldwide. This controversial action pact video game represents some of the most distinctive story lines, over-the-top missions, and the best voice over acting in game history.

"Rockstar's goal is to make each new title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise even better than those that preceded it, and Grand Theft Auto IV is a smashing success on that score. Grand Theft Auto IV makes full use of the power of next generation technology, and offers players an experience unique in the interactive entertainment medium," said Ben Feder, Take-Two's Chief Executive Officer.

Developed and published by Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto IV is rated "M" for Mature and available for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360.
