Dealing with lag mid-firefight is still something that online gamers dread, and D-Link is saying they have the final solution in their latest router announced earlier today. Called the DGL-4500 gaming router, it’s touted as the finest wireless router made exclusively for gamers.

Featuring a 300Mbps transfer rate, along with Gigabit LAN and WAN ports the device is intended to give the online gamer previously unimagined speed and accessibility. The router has also received an upgrade of the company's GameFuel technology, which allows you to customize the network settings to ensure that your gaming connection isn't hampered by that pesky next-door neighbor that keeps stealing your bandwidth.

The router also comes with its own information display on the top which lets you check the integrity of your internet connection. The stylish blue display gives it a clean look and also won't hurt your weary red eyes at three A.M. when you go to switch it off.

The DGL-4500 is now available directly from D-Link for $239.99. We haven't had a chance to play on this little baby yet, but we wait with heavy anticipation for that day to come.
