Comic-Con Cosplay '06

As if nerds didn’t look different enough already, many of them don the spandex and leather of their favorite super heroes and heroines at Comic-Con.

Among the practitioners of this strange ritual it is known as “Cosplay”, though we at Game Almighty simply refer to it as “uncomfortable”.

The people wearing them always appear to be a little uncomfortable and it is often uncomfortable to look at them. Most of them don’t seem to realize that a Singer sewing machine in the garage, Styrofoam, and naugahyde do not a super hero make. But it does make for some fascinating people watching.

Not that they would listen to us, but our advice is to leave the super-suit-wearing up to the real professionals - like the Alliance members here at Game Almighty.
