Capcom announced today that it's giving fans of Lost Planet something extra to look forward to next week with the upcoming release of the Multiplayer Map Pack #3. The new three pack of maps will be available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace, starting on Thursday, June 21. The map pack costs 400 Microsoft Points™ and includes:

• 'Lost Technology', a throw-back to the good ol’ days of pixelated 8-bit gaming

• 'Ruins', ancient temples set amidst a lush jungle

• 'Ice Drop', a frigid glacier with lots of peaks, nooks and crannies

Capcom also passed along a few new screens, showing off the new locations. From the humid jungles to the frigid wastelands to a virtual old school landscape, Lost Planet fans will have a lot of new ways to experience the shooting action. Lost Planet carries a “T” rating for teen audiences by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), can be found on retail shelves around the world.
