Captain Almighty:
When we asked the Captain to give us his favorite for this article he had a pretty difficult time making a decision, “As someone who absorbs abilities and powers from games, I really appreciated Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Assassin’s Creed. For just outright fun though, I have been having fun tearing the pants off of people in Smart Guy on the Nintendo Wii.”
It took us a while to figure out what exactly he was talking about, but we were able to decipher it after a few minutes, and for future reference Captain, the game’s official name is “Smarty Pants” and the expression we think you were trying for is “kicking the crap out of…”. If we are wrong, then please don’t ask us to play against you – we prefer to keep our pants on when playing.
As to his appreciation of Assassin’s Creed – we can attest to that. For the past while he has been climbing all over things with a new suit he had created and tested a little while ago. (You can see some of the test footage here).
Mr. Cynic:
Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer
Infinity Ward did everything right. Controls are tight, graphics are amazing, experience points and perks are a stroke of genius, the party system is simple, lots of modes, lots of guns...and airstrikes. Best multiplayer game since Counter-Strike...simple as that.
Sl33t:
Believe it or not, sometimes the Captain’s right hand man, Sl33t, makes Mr. Cynic seem cozy-fireplace warm. When we asked him what his favorite game this year was, he didn’t even look up from his latest project, “Orange Box” was all he said. And before we even finished the sentence asking him “Why?”, he said, “Value, Multiplayer and modding capabilities.” He’s not a big talker.
8bit:
Unfortunately, the laidback cyborg with the phase-jumping capabilities is on a super secret mission again and the Captain tells us he is unreachable, but we think Rockband or Forza 2 are good bets.
The Dark Designer:
The visual genius who the Captain insisted help create this site often has his nose buried too deeply in his work to play many games, but when he does he only goes for one title – Halo 3.
New heroes are flocking to the Captain’s banner all the time and we’re sure they will let you know what games they are spending their free time with when the Captain lets them get any.
