The PS3 version will feature Sixaxis controls for all of the aerial vehicles (the Decepticons), the Wii version has gesture-recognition controls, and the 360 promises to offer unique and challenging achievements. There’s no multiplayer in these versions of the game, but there does appear to be some yet-to-be-announced downloadable content. We’ll keep you posted on any developments as they surface in the future.
The handheld versions of the game are both completely different this time around. The DS version will be offered in 2 separate SKUs – an Autobots game and a Decepticons game. Each version features a separate storyline, cooperative multiplayer and unlockable content. You’ll also be able to play head-to-head against any of your friends who haven’t chosen to play on the same side as you. Using the DS’s wi-fi connection, you’ll be also be able to download daily challenge levels and post your scores to the website. As your side gets more or less points than the other side, you and your alliance will be able to influence the look and feel of the official website.
The PSP game boasts the most Transformers of any of the versions of the game, features hectic robo-combat and tons of unlockables.

It’s quite evident that the Transformers game is being built by dedicated fans of these giant shape-shifters, and that can only be a good thing for fans and newcomers alike.
