Repair Damaged Vehicles
There are two ways to repair damaged vehicles: a repair zone at specific spawn points or using an infantryman’s wrench. If a repair zone isn’t easily accessible, then infantry should be. Ask for repairs from nearby infantry by communicating your need to the squad or rest of the team.

Repair While Engaging
A nice little tactic is to have a tank laying waste to an enemy position while an infantryman stays close to the tank and repairs any damage as it occurs. The infantryman will want to stay behind the vehicle to minimize exposure to enemy fire.
Repair Fighter Planes
If your plane has sustained damage then you have two options for repair: land at a base or fly over an airstrip at a low elevation.
Bombs Away
Certain spawn points grant you access to an air raid. When activated you’ll be in control of several bombers that can soften up enemy advances or blow away approaching tanks. Use the bomb-bay camera to increase your accuracy when dropping bombs and be aware of friendlies!
Squad Play
When you first enter Battlefield 1943, you’ll be given the option of joining an Open Squad. Do so. This will place you in a small group of up to three other players. Your headset will allow you to communicate with squad members, so use the opportunity to coordinate an attack or defense. Squad members will appear on your radar as a different color from the rest of your team, making it easy to determine who and where everyone is located.
Another benefit of sticking with your squad is an increase in points you’ll receive by helping each other out.
Command Symbols
When you’re in a squad, you can use Command Symbols to indicate locations for offense and defense, Simply hit the BACK button for access to Command Symbols.

Sticky Explosives
The Scout carries explosives that can be flung ahead of you by tapping the left-trigger. These explosives stick quite nicely to vehicles. Once you have an explosive stuck to a tank, simply hit the right-trigger and watch the fireworks.
